If I have to be completely honest with you – I hate cleaning. I don’t enjoy wasting my little free time scrubbing and wiping my home for hours, however, I am at a point in my life where I know it’s super important and I should accept the fact that no one is going to clean my home for me. This is why I have been trying to find easy and less time-consuming ways to clean – so that I can save time, effort, and energy while still having a spotless living space.
Believe it or not, the solution to my problems is easy – using natural ingredients and allowing them to do all the work for me. Today, I am going to focus on deep cleaning a bathtub and show you how I clean mine easily and effectively!
How To Properly Deep Clean Your Bathtub?
Since this cleaning method I use is suitable for almost all bathtubs no matter the material they are made out of, you can safely use it – the only materials that I do not recommend you apply these ingredients to is acrylic and fiberglass.
Now, start off with rinsing the tub si any hairs and dust can be removed.
Then it’s time to pull out the first ingredient we will use – baking soda. Sprinkle the powder all over your tub then use a scrub brush to clean the tub and scrub out any stains or impurities.
After that, dip a sponge in vinegar and start scrubbing over the baking soda with it. Both ingredients will create a fizzing reaction which is exactly what we need to loosen up and remove any stubborn stains and impurities stuck on your tub.
Then it’s time to rinse everything and check to see whether you are happy with the result. If you notice a few spots and stains still remaining, make sure you repeat the same steps once or twice more until the bathtub is finally spotless!
