If you have kids then dealing with stains is an everyday thing for you, right? But I am here to give you an amazing DIY recipe for a natural stain remover so that you no longer need to worry whether you will be able to remove those stains or not! I have recently discovered this cleaner and it’s amazing. It gets rid of all stains easily and effortlessly – without too much scrubbing or rubbing!
What Ingredietns You Need?
There are a lot of recipes for stain removers out there that contain vinegar, however, I must admit I am not a huge fan of using vinegar because of the smell. Yes, it gets the job done but there are a lot of other ingredients out there that are amazing in removing stains and do not have that horrible scent.
Instead of vinegar, I use hydrogen peroxide.
Another ingredient that is very important is lemon juice. It’s acidic just like vinegar but it has an amazing smell!
And last but not least, I add a few drops of my favourite essential oil – lavender. Of course, you can use any essential oil out there.
How To Use This Cleaner?
After you have prepared everything, you should mix it in a spray bottle (I use 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide, the juice of half a lemon, and 5 drops of the essential oil).
I spray some of the mixture on the stained area and let it sit for 20-30 minutes so it has time to lift off the stains. Sometimes I grab an old toothbrush and scrub the affected area as well.
Next, I rinse the area and check whether the stain is removed. If it remains then repeat the same steps until you get rid of it.
Once the stains are gone, throw the clothing item in your washing machine and wash as usual!
